Fried Batairs or Quails


Ingredients:

1) Batairs 10
2) Red Chilli Powder 3 tbsp
3) Chat Masala 2 1/2 tbsp
4) Salt To taste
5) Chinese Salt 1 tbsp
6) white Pepper 1 tbsp
7) Garam Masala 1 tbsp
8) Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp
9) Yoghurt 1/2 kg
10) Garlic 2 tbsp
11) Ginger 2 tbsp
12) Cornflour 1 cup
13) Maida 1/2 cup
14) Eggs 6
15) Food Colour(red)1 gm
16) Water 2-3 cups
17) Oil As required
18) Lemon Juice 1 large
Method:
1. First claen the batairs and wash with water.
2. Take a container, add bataris and mix chat masala, red chilli powder, garlic, yoghurt, lemon, cumin, garam masala, white pepper, salt and chinese slat and mix well and leave overnight in cold storage.
3. Take cornflour, maida, eggs, water and food colour, make a batter, dip batairs in this mixture.
4. Put a frying pan on medium flame, heat oil.
5. When oil is medium hot, put batairs in it and fry very slowly for 5-8 minutes till turn golden.
6. Ready to serve.
